Join internationally renowned underwater performer Hannah Mermaid for an intimate, high-level 3-day immersion designed to transform the way you move, express, and create beneath the surface.

With over 23 years of experience in underwater modeling, Hannah has worked across film, television, advertising, live event performance, aquariums, and professional photoshoots. She brings a deep and extensive storehouse of knowledge, offering you refined techniques and insider understanding to truly elevate your underwater modeling.

Hosted at the stunning Golden Pines Retreat, a private 5-acre property deep in the heart of Temecula wine country, this experience blends creative immersion with natural beauty. Think rolling hills reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside, golden sunsets, and peaceful nature walks woven into your days.

Our sessions take place in a beautiful 9-foot-deep pool, offering the ideal depth and clarity to create truly ethereal underwater imagery. Just beside it, an in-ground hot tub invites you to unwind and gaze at the stars after long, magical water sessions. You’ll also have access to a wood sauna to release sore muscles, detox, and reset between shoots.

Inside, the space feels like a luxury slumber party – a sunken white-carpeted living room, a spacious home to relax and connect, and nourishing vegetarian meals included throughout your stay.

This is a highly personalized experience, limited to just six participants, allowing for deep guidance, meaningful connection, and plenty of one-on-one time in the water.

Participants will have rare access to Hannah Mermaid’s extensive wardrobe of unique, handcrafted, and designer underwater costumes, gathered and created over more than 20 years of her career. From flowing gowns to fins, each piece has been curated for its beauty and movement underwater. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be styled, guided, and photographed using these extraordinary pieces, while receiving hands-on coaching from the original mermaid herself.

Across the three days, you will be guided through the full spectrum of underwater modeling:

Breathwork techniques to extend your underwater comfort and confidence
Fluid, weightless movement training to embody the essence of a mermaid
Posing techniques for both tails and flowing costumes
Buoyancy control and body awareness for effortless, graceful lines
Underwater modeling techniques for creating photogenic body lines, working with fabric and tails, and understanding camera angles for your unique body
Practical techniques for keeping eyes, ears, and nose comfortable
Access to Hannah Mermaid’s exclusive underwater costume wardrobe
Styling with wigs, wardrobe, and waterproof makeup for camera-ready results

Your underwater sessions will be captured by Dakota Fox, whose easygoing and creative approach helps you relax, feel empowered, and naturally express yourself. With an intuitive eye for personality and presence, Dakota captures imagery that feels authentic, alive, and uniquely you.

In addition to your photos, we will also capture underwater 360-degree video footage throughout the workshop. Each participant will receive their raw 360 footage to take home – giving you a powerful tool to study your movement, refine your technique, and create your own custom video edits.

We’ll be creating a range of magical visual worlds using multiple custom-printed underwater backdrops, curated props, and flowing textiles – from celestial sirens to mythic ocean beings – giving you a diverse and striking portfolio.

Beyond the technique, this experience is about expression.

You’ll be supported in stepping into a deeper level of confidence, presence, and creative freedom – whether you are brand new to underwater work or refining your craft.
