Sound of the Siren is an immersive retreat experience designed to reconnect you with that original frequency. The one that lives beneath conditioning, beneath performance, beneath the social conditioning of palatability.

Set in the lush, ocean-charged energy of Puerto Viejo, this experience weaves together expressing your true resonance through vocal frequency activation, underwater embodiment, and fluid movement in one powerful, integrated journey.

This is a practice in remembering our sovereign expression through somatic and harmonic frequencies.

THE WORK

SOUND: Guided by Meg Kelley, a highly skilled licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Voice Coach, you will explore the raw mechanics and energetic potential of your voice and learn tangible skills that target breath, pitch, resonance, weight, and contour, all of which will assist you in unlocking your true resonance as a vocal expression of your authentic self.

Your voice is more than just sounds and words; it is one of the more important tools we have access to as humans. How you use this tool dictates how you create and shape your reality.

How do others receive and perceive your voice?

Imagine the sound waves your voice creates: much like the waves in the ocean, sound waves vibrate outward through your mouth and bounce off of people you speak to. This vibrational quality, or frequency, is the result of the power of your voice, and carries the energetic codes of your emotions and intentions. When these sound waves encounter people and things in your environment it creates a sort of echo we call resonance. This is how your frequency affects the world around you.

Does your voice feel like “you” or does it feel like something is misaligned, or missing?

Just like all physical objects and spaces, your body has a frequency that is completely unique to you. “True resonance” is the pure and natural sonic expression of your soul, and is what you will be diving into through this immersive jungle experience.

Through underwater modeling, breathwork, and mermaid-inspired movement, you’ll be guided by Hannah Mermaid – a pioneer of modern mermaiding

With decades of experience performing across film, television, global events, and ocean advocacy campaigns, Hannah has helped shape mermaiding into both an art form and a powerful tool for personal empowerment, connection and environmental awareness.

Her work lives at the intersection of performance, activism, and embodiment.

In the water, she teaches far more than technique.

The sanctuary’s location, just five minutes from pristine beaches, provides easy access to crystal-clear waters ideal for snorkeling, swimming, or simply relaxing on the sand. Designed to host up to 16 guests, the Siren Sanctuary features three tropical bungalows, the Mermaid Temple + Mezzanine, and two stylish Studio apartments, offering a total of eight private, newly renovated rooms. HOW DO WE GIVE BACK?

BEACH CLEAN UP:

As part of the ‘Dive Into Love’ Retreat at Siren Sanctuary, we’ll unite for a beach clean-up mission to collect trash along the otherwise pristine coastline. This hands-on effort is a way to give back to the ocean that inspires us, helping protect marine life and maintain the natural beauty of the area. By working together, we’ll make a tangible difference for the local environment, fostering a deeper connection to the ocean and reinforcing our shared commitment to conservation and sustainability.

ANIMAL RESCUE CENTER:

At each retreat, we visit and donate to the local wildlife rescue center, a vital organization that has rescued 500–700 animals annually since 2008, with over 40% successfully returned to their natural habitat. As animal lovers and environmentalists, this is a meaningful way to support impactful, local conservation work. During our visit, you’ll learn about indigenous wildlife and have the chance to meet animals currently in rehabilitation, deepening your connection to the region and its incredible biodiversity.

Extra nights can be booked in advance at Siren Sanctuary at a special discounted rate of $100 per night, before or after the retreat. This gives you time to settle in beforehand or continue enjoying the Sanctuary once the retreat ends.

We highly recommend arriving at least one day early, as travel delays can happen, and this ensures you arrive relaxed, prepared, and ready to fully step into the experience.

All retreat purchases are 100% non-refundable upon purchase. If for any reason you are unable to attend, we do not issue refunds. You are highly encouraged to purchase CFAR (cancel for any reason insurance) in case anything should prevent you from attending.
